Create Custom Strike

Users may define custom strike values to analyze potential risk scenarios that may not presently be available.

In order to create a custom strike value, the Strike column must be present on the OptionSource Position Pane.

Right Click the OptionSource window and select Columns, then select Customize... to add the Strike column.

To create a custom strike, begin by duplicating a row with a strike similar to the custom value.   This is done by right clicking the symbol and selecting  Duplicate Row.   See below the 1500 call has been duplicated.  User Editable cells are shaded gray.

Next, double click the and edit the Strike cell to the new custom value.  The new, custom defined symbol inherits values such as Days til Expiration, Underlying Symbol, ImpVol, OldSetIV, Last, etc from the original symbol.  The original symbol is displayed under the Symbol column, however it is followed by the custom strike value in square brackets.  Also, the Strike cell contains an asterisk (*) to denote a custom strike.

Lastly, the Update Mode of the custom symbol was changed to OldSetIV, which then calculated the Value of the custom strike using the OldSetIV value inherited from the 1500 strike symbol.
