You may Create, Modify and Share up to 5 symbol lists of up to 40 symbols each with Workstation and your Interactive Data Mobile device.
Shared Symbol Lists are found within the Tabs of the Quotes Board. To access:
From the Quotes Board Tabs, right click and select Shared Symbol Lists.
OR
Right Click anywhere on the Quotes Board, then select Tab options, then Shared Symbol Lists.
OR
Select the Tab menu, then Shared Symbol Lists.
Shared Symbol Lists are tied to Tabs within the Quotes Board. Loading a Shared Symbol List onto a Quotes Board Tab will replace the Tabs contents.
You then have 6 options.

Displays Shared Symbol Lists - Replaces Tab contents with selected Shared Symbol List |

Saves Changes to Loaded Symbol List. Unsaved Symbol Lists are denoted with an asterisk * in Symbol List Title Row |

Creates a New Shared Symbol List from current Tabs contents - Grayed out if 5 Shared Symbol Lists already exist. |

Reloads Shared Symbol List from server |

Rename |
Renames Existing Shared Symbol List |

Menu options are grayed out if action cannot be performed.
You must Save changes you wish to keep to Shared Symbol Lists. When closing Workstation, if you select 'Yes' to 'Save Changes to Workspace?' if there are unsaved Shared Symbol Lists you will be asked to 'Save Shared Symbol Lists'.
NOTE: Interactive Data Mobile supports simple mathematical expressions only. Many expressions supported in Workstation, such as Studies in Quote Board or Built in WINTER, SUMMER, and ANNUAL Strip functions will not work in Interactive Data Mobile.
Expressions entered in Shared Symbol Lists must conform to Interactive Data Mobile's expression entry convention for you to be able to view them in Mobile.
Expressions begin with equals sign ( = ) and no spaces are allowed around mathematical operators. ( +, -, *, / (, ) )
