Two new Pivot Point studies have been added to the standard list of studies: Pivot Points and Pivot Points MA. In conjunction with other technical analysis, pivot points allow a user to quickly identify points at which price movement is likely to occur. Pivot points help identify when support and resistance levels have been broken. The user has the ability to define the values used to calculate the pivot point, High, Low and Close plus its displacement. The Pivot Points MA study allows the user to specify a moving average period to help smooth the pivot points.
