When you add a new symbol to a window, you may see a yellow square next to the symbol.
The square disappears when the symbol is populated. If a red square appears, this means that the symbol does not exist on the database or that the user is not entitled receive data for that symbol or exchange.
In order to save network bandwidth and keep the User Interface responsive Symbols and other data on pages that are not being displayed enter 'hibernation' mode. This means that they will not update until the user selects that page. Alerts will continue to function even if symbols are hibernating.
