News stories can be detached from the page and opened in a separate window. This allows you to Search, Copy, Print or Close the story.
To open a news story in a new window, right click on the News window, then select Display Properties. Place a check mark in the Show News Story in a Separate Window field.
If the user chooses to Reuse News Story Window then clicking on new headlines will cause the existing story window contents to be replaced with the new Story.
There are options on the Story window to allow navigation through previous stories:
The right and left arrows allow the user to step through the stories that have been viewed, while a mouseover the arrows will indicate the title of the next and previous stories.
The 'gear' pulldown makes the entire story history available to be selected with a mouse click
