Gestures are a functionality found on some touchscreen devices and various browser plugins. Like the browser Gesture plugins, which are used, like hotkeys, to perform some common action by dragging the mouse in some predefined direction with the right mouse button held down. Gestures are defined by 8 of the points of the compass:
North, South, East, West and NE, NW, SE and SW
There are some Gestures already set up in Connect
In this example, a new page can be opened with two gesture motions: East (right) followed by South (down)
the full list of already available Gestures is:
SE to print the window
NE to copy out the window
S to open the properties dialog
E S (East, then South) to open a new page
NE + SW or SW + NE to maximize/restore the window
In order to user Gestures the checkbox at the bottom right must be set
Highlight on a command for which a gesture is desired and put in the desired gesture.

Sets of custom Gestures can be saved as templates using the Copy Command:
After copying a template the user can Restore Defaults:
Once templates have been created they can be accessed through the Template pulldown menu:
They can also be deleted after selection:
