A Futures Strip is the sale or purchase of futures in sequential delivery months in a single security. Strips allow investors to secure conditions such as yields for a period of time equal to the length of the strip.
the Calculator allows the user to see the prices of all available futures contracts for a given commodity.
Launch from the right-hand side of the menu bar or from the right-click menu.
Next to the Symbol entry field are the Search and Go buttons
If multiple symbols have been entered during the section they are retained in the Symbol field pulldown
Search brings up the Standard Market Data Symbol Lookup
The default number of Strips is 3, but the Calculator can display more or less depending on the setting of the Strips pulldown.
The user can also choose whether to display Recent or Last price data with the Field pulldown.
