By default, trendlines ( for example, the Lines option in Selection Tools) snap to bar highs and lows when trendlines are added to a chart. To turn this function off, highlight the tool, right click anywhere on the chart, then uncheck the Snap option in the pop-up options list.
The snap function is turned off. To turn on the Snap function, place a check mark next to the Snap option.
