To see more detail on a chart, use the Zoom tool on the Drawing toolbar to examine the area more closely. The smaller the area you select, the greater the magnification. When you are finished, use the Zoom Out button until you reach the original chart magnification.
To zoom in
Click the Zoom button on the Drawing toolbar.
Result: The cursor on the chart changes to a magnifying glass.
Position the cursor at the starting point of the area you want to magnify.
Hold down the left mouse button and drag to the ending point of the area you want to magnify.
Result: The data area is highlighted.
Release the mouse button, and the selected area is enlarged.
Note: You may also use a single click to zoom in on a general area of the chart.
To zoom out
Click the Zoom Out button on the Drawing toolbar to reduce the magnification by one level.
If necessary, click again to return to the original display level.
