A chart can have multiple panes, each showing one or more symbols, studies, or drawing tool objects. Panes may easily be copied, pasted, resized, or closed. The object displayed in a pane may also be overlaid onto an object in another pane.

When more than one object resides in a pane, the entire layer (all objects) may be copied and pasted into another pane.
